Britain proposes maintenance rights for separated cohabitants

Britain's Law Commission has launched a consultation into the rights of unmarried couples living together in case of a break-up or death. Under proposals published Wednesday, the government intends to review the laws, which govern their rights on property, child benefits and inheritance.
