Nintendo to ship 400,000 Wiis at launch in Japan

Japanese game maker Nintendo Co. Ltd. said Wednesday it will ship 400,000 units of its new game console Wii for the home market launch expected on 2 December, which is four times as many PlayStation 3 consoles Sony Corporation could ship at debut last week.
