Anger at bus war blame

BUS companies say they are fed up with taking the blame for city centre traffic jams and insist they are innocent of the latest gridlocks. The traffic commissioner has threatened council bosses and bus operators with fines for breaking emergency conditions imposed after competition between Stagecoach and UK North brought traffic to a standstill in September.
