Torchmark breaks ground on new HQ

Torchmark Corp. (NYSE: TMK) has broken ground on its new 150,000-square-foot corporate headquarters in McKinney. The insurance company is relocating to North Texas from Birmingham, Ala., bringing with it about 500 new jobs.
