Wal-Mart also remembers it's Christmas

Filed under: Corporate It's not just Target that remembered that Christmas is the name of the holiday we're fast approaching. Wal-Mart too has reintroduced "Merry Christmas" into its advertising plans as well as its in-store displays. The Christmas-branded spots will be the first such ads from Wal-Mart in a number of years. Macy's too is bringing back the Christmas name to their holiday advertising. "Christmas" has been disappearing in recent years because of concerns about offending non-Christians who might feel excluded because of the use of the holiday's actual name.
