(AP) - Christmas decorations are already in place at one of the entrances to Lakeside Shopping Center in Metairie, La., Monday, Nov. 6, 2006. Last year, the holidays were far from normal for many from the Gulf Coast, marked in far-flung cities, away from hurricane-displaced loved ones, or in FEMA trailers that, in some cases, were defiantly decked-out. This year, despite constant reminders of Hurricane Katrina _ from rows of gutted houses to fights with insurance companies _ many local residents are looking forward to something to celebrate.
