Saudi Arabia wont leave quake-affectees alone

Is Saudi Arabia's intention one of compassion or one of subversion? From Onlinenews.com.PK: [The] people and government of Saudi Arabia equally shares the grief of quake affectees and will stand by them in this critical moment, said deputy Interior Minister of Saudi Arabia Ahmed Bin Abdul Aziz here on Monday. Talking to a group of newsmen during his visit to Combined Military Hospital Muzaffarabad, he said we will continue our relief and reconstruction efforts for the rehabilitation of people in the quake affected areas. He said our Kashmiri as well as Pakistani brothers are passing through a difficult time and they need our help. In these circumstances, he said other states and international relief agencies are supplying relief goods to the people in quake ravaged areas. He said we will have to continue coordinated efforts to help people of quake-hit areas come out of this difficult moment so that they could start a new life. He also urged international community to start provision of tents to quake hit remote hamlets and villages to save people from bitterness of winter. Meanwhile, Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime minister Sardar Sikandar Hayat Khan thanked people and government of Saudi Arabia for supporting Pakistani and Kashmiri people at this critical moment. He was talking to newsmen after his meeting with a high level delegation of Saudi Arabia. "Whether it is matter of financial assistance or OIC platform Saudi government`s continuous support for quake affectees could not be forgotten and we thank them for this gesture," he added.
