CNC deal could end telecom row

Chinese fixed-line carrier China Network Communications Group Corp (CNC) has finally emerged as the largest single shareholder of Hong Kong phone company PCCW Ltd, which could eventually put an end to a row over a controversial sale of PCCW's assets.
