'Extinct' species found again in south China

A picture of a eastern black crested gibbon taken by a group of wildlife diversity researchers in a forest near the Vietnam border in Guangxi Autonomous Region and released by the Guangxi Forestry Bureau on November 14, 2006. The gibbon is one of the world's most endangered species, and was previously beleived to have been extinct on the Chinese mainland since the 1950s.
