Thomas Vinterberg looks like someone who should be spending his life in front of the camera rather than behind it. With beach-blond hair and sea-blue eyes, he has the air of a high-school sweetheart from an American teen movie. Sharply dressed in black blazer and jeans, he's sitting comfortably in an armchair at a London hotel sipping tea.
