Zee buys 50% of Ten Sports

Zee Telefilms says it has bought a 50% stake in Dubai-based Ten Sports from Taj Television. The value of the deal was not disclosed, but was based on an enterprise value of $114m for Taj TV. Ten Sports has broadcast rights to major international sporting events. It airs in the subcontinent, Middle East and Hong Kong. [AMEInfo.com]
