Govt may help deported man in Serbia

The federal government has offered a Melbourne man deported to Serbia temporary housing and medical checks, but is standing by its decision not to allow him back in the country.Robert Jovicic said he was deported to Serbia, a country he has never set foot in, by the federal government in June 2004 despite having lived in Australia for 36 years.
