Industrial Action Escalates At TVNZ.

Industrial action at Television New Zealand is escalating with up to 100 staff walking off the job for 24 hours. Journalists, presenters and technical staff at the state broadcaster want a five percent pay rise and to keep a week's extra annual leave for long service. Around 50 staff went on strike for about 5 hours yesterday.© NewsRoom 2006
