Shiite council lauds progress in UN Hariri probe

The Higher Islamic Shiite Council welcomed the continuous progress in the UN investigation into the assassination of former Premier Rafik Hariri and reiterated the nation's support to maintaining the resistance. The council held its regular meeting presided over by vice president Sheikh Abdel-Amir Qabalan. In a statement, the council said:
