Vodafone tops profit forecasts

LONDON (Reuters) - Vodafone Group topped forecasts for half-year earnings and raised some of its full- year expectations on Tuesday, but another knock to its goodwill left it with a net loss of 4.55 billion pounds ($8.63 billion).
