GM to announce 1,000 job losses at Vauxhall

FRANKFURT/LONDON - General Motors Europe appears all set to downsize about a 1,000 jobs at its Vauxhall factory in Ellesmere Port in England. This announcement is to be confirmed on Wednesday after what were described as long and unhelpful talks with unions.
