Officials: Cash could pave way for I-49

State Treasurer John Kennedy says the state should set aside 100 (m) million dollars of its expected 827-point-three (m) million dollar surplus from the fiscal year that ended June 30th for work on Interstate 49 north between Lafayette and Shreveport and south from Lafayette to the New Orleans area.
