Safer drug than tamoxifen found for fighting breast cancer

Washington, A new drug,Ospemifene, being developed through the collaboration between UC Davis and a team of Finnish researchers to treat vaginal atrophy can also be used to fight breast cancer as has been proved in two separately conducted studies.The drug, besides being as effective, also is free from side-effects as compared to the existing drug Tamoxifen.
