Report: Race Gap In U.S. Persists

Racial gaps in income, education and home ownership persist in the U.S. and are growing by some measurements, according to a new Census Bureau report. Whites had incomes two-thirds higher than blacks and 40 percent higher than Hispanics in 2005.
