Sweating in heart patients is a sign that there is a problem

In a very interesting study which really indicates that more research needs to be done, investigators have come upon a strange phenomenon: Despite the fact that the American Heart Association has been trying for years to encourage people with shoulder and chest pain, neck and jaw pain to seek care for possible heart attacks, many people wait as long as 22 hours before reporting symptoms. However, in a recent survey, scientists have discovered that people with clusters of symptoms which include sweating are more likely to seek medical care for their symptoms within 9 hours. This shortened time period greatly increases the chances that the patients will be able to prevent more serious damage from occurring. It is not yet known whether the sweating indicates a more serious heart attack, or why exactly the sweating causes patients to seek aid. I was not aware until recently that shortness of breath and sweating both are indications of possible heart conditions/heart attacks. I think if I suddenly started sweating for no obvious reason, that would be harder to ignore than muscle pains which can be explained away by a number of things.
