Allegheny Valley Bank profit slips

Allegheny Valley Bancorp Inc., the parent holding company of Allegheny Valley Bank of Pittsburgh, reported third quarter net income of $14,675, or 1 cent per share, compared with earnings of $1.097 million, or $1.11 per share for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2005.
