Testing for breast cancer is getting more comfortable

Filed under: Breast Cancer, Alternative Therapies, Prevention I am thrilled to learn about a more comfortable solution for breast cancer detection, this post is for all women who will be facing the inevitable test. Instead of mammography, breast CT, which is an investigational technology used to determine if early stage breast cancer is apparent in a woman, is more comfortable and better at finding breast lesions. At the University of California a first look at the results of a comparison between breast CT and mammograpy showed that using breast CT was potentially better at detecting and evaluting the possibility of having breast cancer.
