Eaton Vance Credit Opportunities Fund Annual Meeting of Shareholders

Boston - BOSTON -- At a meeting on November 13, 2006, the Board of Trustees of Eaton Vance Credit Opportunities Fund (the Fund), (NYSE:EOE), voted to hold its Annual Meeting of Shareholders on Friday, February 23, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. (EST). The meeting will be held at the principal office of the Fund, The Eaton Vance Building, 255 State Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02109. Proxy materials will be mailed on or around December 29, 2006 to shareholders of record on December 18, 2006. Shareholders will be asked to vote on the election of three Class I Trustees.
