Nasdaq Rallies in Late Trading, Movie Gallery Climbs on Revenue Gains

The Nasdaq surged 1% Tuesday, as new inflation data gave investors hope of possible rate cuts. Movie Gallery shares jumped after the video-rental chain posted revenue above Wall Street's expectations.
