US FDA panel backs Bristol, Merck diabetes drug

SILVER SPRING, Maryland (Reuters) - An experimental diabetes pill to lower blood sugar and certain blood fats won support on Friday from U.S. advisers despite concerns that it might contribute to heart failure.
