Switch Your Dictionaries

One of the nice new features of Firefox 2 is the built in spell checker. I can not begin to tell you how much time this little addition has saved me. I love being able to type something up, and then check it right there inside of the browser. What are you to do when you need to switch dictionaries though? What are you to do? You need to pick up the Dictionary Switcher extension for Firefox. This extension toggles between the installed dictionaries automatically or manually and displays the currently selected dictionary in the status bar. Now where and why would this be helpful? Well consider yourself a master of more than one language. If you knew German and French, you wouldn't want to just use the English dictionary, right? It is always a good idea to add a little more choice for folks, and the accessibility is nice as well. You just click on a little icon in the status bar. It could not get more simple than that. This Firefox extension is for versions 2.0 and up of the browser. To download it and try it out for yourself, you can do so at the Mozilla Add-on Web site.
