Late term abortions come up again for US Court decision

The US Supreme Court is evaluating the reinstatement of a ban on late term abortions usually performed in the third trimester when the mother's life is in peril owing to cancer, heart disease or raised blood pressure. The case brings back attention to the grim procedure that despite being voted for prohibition in 2003 in 31 states, is yet to be effected.
