LATIN AMERICA: Rise in Investment Unlikely to Benefit the Poor

MEXICO CITY, Sep 29 (IPS) - Foreign direct investment in Latin America and the Caribbean grew by 44 percent in 2004, following four consecutive years of decline, according to a report released Thursday by UNCTAD.
