Ohio's 3rd quarter mass layoffs down, but still 5th highest

Mass layoffs decreased slightly in the third quarter in Ohio compared with this time last year, with figures that placed the state as the fifth highest in the nation for initial unemployment claims, according to a report by the federal Bureau of Labor and Statistics.
