GAINESVILLE - It's hard enough for children to deal with the flu or a sore throat, but imagine a child struggling with high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol and adult-onset diabetes. Such "grown-up" problems are plaguing an increasing number of American kids as childhood obesity rates continue to rise.
