Filed under: Breast Cancer I feel compelled to help her get the message out. Charlene Boge is a 49 year old breast cancer survivor. Her very important message is there is life after breast cancer and it's an active life she says. Boge will be taking her message to Malaysia in 2006, and is already training with a 26-member crew of 43 to 89 year olds. They practice on the cold Gorge waterway in Vancouver, Canada. Some of the women are weight training, power walking, and canoeing to aid in placing in the top ten at the four day event next September. It will be the first international competition exclusively for breast cancer survivors. Permalink | Email this | Linking Blogs | Comments
