Filed under: Industry, Regulatory Multistream CableCARDs are still on their way, no these aren't the 2.0 variety, but simply a 1.0 card that has the ability to decode two streams simultaneously with one card. This is an important feature for dual tuner DVRs like the new Series3 and starting in January TiVo and their competitors can start to have CableLABS verify their hardware on the new cards.
