Lite-On reduces capital, bolsters its power supply business by acquiring LSE

Lite-On Technology today announced a NT$8.73 billion capital reduction program taking effect on May 21, 2007. After the capital reduction, the company's capital will total NT$20.37 billion, 30% down from its current capital of NT$29.1 billion, according to the company.
