EBay to Buy Skype

Online auction powerhouse eBay Inc. will buy Luxembourg-based Skype Technologies SA, the world's leader in Internet phone service, for $2.6 billion in cash and potential future payments of as much as $1.5 billion in cash or stock, the two companies announced today.
