(Reuters) - Team leader Sebastian Thrun (L) of the Stanford Racing Team from Menio Park, California celebrates with his team members after they were declared winners of the DARPA 2005 Grand Challenge in Primm, Nevada October 9, 2005. Some 23 robotic ground vehicles started the 241 km (150 mile) desert road test, but only five finished it. Stanford's winning entry, which was named 'Stanley', posted a time of 6:53:53.
