Thanksgiving

As I sit on Monday night writing this Thanksgiving Day garden column, a sweet gentle rain is coming down. It is a perfect drizzle that will penetrate the bone dry earth and restore life to many thirsty plants. My husband knows I like to listen to jazz as I write and he asked if I wanted WUOT on. I told him no because there could not be any more pleasant sounds than that of the rain.
