Australian prostate cancer drug shows promise

A new Australian drug is showing promise as a treatment for prostate cancer, particularly for patients whose cancers have not responded to other forms of treatment. Patients with hormone-sensitive prostate cancer are given drugs that limit testosterone, which encourages the cancer to grow.
