Scottish Power to cut costs; shares up on bid hope

FRANKFURT/LONDON (Reuters) - Scottish Power SPW.L unveiled plans for 60 million pounds of annual cost savings on Tuesday, as its shares rose for a second day following news of a possible bid approach from Germany's E.ON EONG.DE.
