Gates Foundation awards $108M to local group for malaria work

The PATH Malaria Vaccine Initiative has received a $107.6 million grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to extend its partnership with GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals to develop a vaccine for preventing malaria in African children.
