Investment in Wireless Companies Continues to Rise

Filed under: Business A new MoneyTree Survey indicates that investors poured over $1 billion into wireless companies in 2005, representing 13 percent of all technology-related investments and up over 13 percent over 2004's totals. According to the study, there was no one single wireless technology that drew a significant amount of the investment money, but one would imagine that will change this year as companies involved in deploying citywide wireless networks using WiFi or WiMax should see much more capital coming their way.
