More Visitors to the Garden

Everyone is suffering from the heat. I remember when I used to complain in the presence of Roy Thoma, he would say, 'Well, you do live in the South." That came from someone who had lived in Texas. This weather is unprecedented in the 16 years we have lived here. Be certain to drink plenty of fluids and don't garden in the heat of the day. If you plan to water your garden, do it very early in the morning when there is less evaporation. Watch out for creepy crawlers. The hot weather has brought on an abundance of bugs and snakes. I haven't been doing much gardening lately. I visited a neurosurgeon at Vanderbilt about my back. He prescribed another shot for my back and water therapy both of which are helping greatly. Human backs are complicated structures. Too bad we can't have a replacement when it wears out.
