(AP) - President Bush's chief adviser, Karl Rove, walks across the South Lawn of the White House after returning from a trip with the president to Tobyhanna Army Depot near Wilkes-Barre, Penn., in Washington, Friday, Nov. 11, 2005. Rove has kept a low public profile since his grand jury testimony in the CIA leak investigation a month ago, but he stepped into the limelight Thursday night to take aim at four of the Bush administration's Democratic opponents in the Senate in defense of his boss' judicial selections, including Harriet Miers, whose Supreme Court nomination was withdrawn after opposition from the president's conservative base.
