Britney's not the mother of all bad moms

When Britney Spears was photographed early this month driving with her infant son, Sean Preston, on her lap, you would think by the media and public reaction that she was, in fact, drag racing with Michael Jackson and Blanket (the son he dangled from a hotel balcony). The popular press latched onto this story as a thrilling follow-up to previous stories about Spears's marriage to an allegedly bad husband and worse rapper, not to mention her postpregnancy weight gain.
