"...Software Update Services (SUS) 1.0 will no longer be supported after December 6, 2006. SUS 1.0 will no longer synchronize or provide new updates after December 6, 2006. Therefore, please ensure that all your customers using SUS 1.0 upgrade to Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) before December 6, 2006 to ensure continued patch management.
