How to get a full cardio workout in 15 minutes

Even a very short period of intense activity can be of great cardio health benefit to most people, including those with heart conditions and those who tend to be generally inactive. If one of your excuses is that you're too busy to do a 45 minute low-level cardio training like walking, try 15 minutes of intense interval training instead. The trick is to alternate all-out sprints with resting periods, instead of maintaining a moderate pace throughout your session. Try about one minute of sprint per one minute of rest, or experiment in ranges from 30 seconds to two minutes on the sprint, and from one to four minutes on the resting cycle.
