CCE to distribute rival's iced tea

Coca-Cola Enterprises wants a bigger part of the fast-growing ready-to-drink tea market, even if it means going further outside of the family to get it. CCE, Coca-Cola's largest bottler and the biggest soft drink distributor in the world, has struck a deal with Coke's iced tea rival, Arizona, to help distribute its popular brand in the United States. The deal is the clearest sign yet that Coca-Cola Enterprises has grown impatient with the speed of innovation at Coke, especially in the ready-to-drink tea market. Coke's Nestea is the No. 4 brand behind Arizona, Lipton and Snapple.
