Does BlackBerry site update mean camera phone re-think?

Filed under: RIM, Stories I didn't notice until Robb of RIMarkable mentioned it: Research in Motion has updated the BlackBerry site. Robb and I both like the fact that as you can see above, the home page is now separated into clickable sections for consumers and business users. There's even a clickable "BlackBerry For Life" icon. We're both wondering if that acknowledgement of BlackBerry's consumer appeal will ultimately lead the brain trust at RIM to conclude that maybe, a BlackBerry-powered camera phone wouldn't be such a horrible idea. After all, don't many of us already have a camera phone to enable us to photograph - well, life? I mean, really. Look at this shot from the main BlackBerry For Life page! Those mountains, now, wouldn't it be cool if there was even one BlackBerry you could use to shoot those images with? Permalink | Email this | Linking Blogs | Comments
