Georgia gov. appeals to revive state ban on same-sex marriage

Sonny Perdue, governor of the state of Georgia, U.S., filed an appeal Wednesday asking the Georgia Supreme Court to reinstate an amendment to the state constitution that bans same-sex couples from getting married.
