JAMA Article Says TAXUS Stents Half as Likely to Require Reintervention in Complex Lesions

Boston Scientific Corp welcomed an article in the Journal of the AMA on the TAXUS V clinical trial that found the TAXUS Express2 paclitaxel-eluting stent system significantly reduces the risk of artery re-narrowing 9 months following angioplasty for patients with complex coronary artery lesions, compared to bare-metal stents.
