Quiet start to MLB GM meetings

Before knocking down trade rumours, baseball general managers toppled some bowling pins. GMs began their annual meetings Monday with an afternoon at the lanes, putting on coloured shirts for some kegling. After a dinner Monday night, the GMs were to get down to business Tuesday, with a three-day agenda that includes discussions on instant replay, the elimination of tie games and uniform ball storage rules.
